The chair was designed for my new-born daughter Amalie.

The aim was to design a high-chair that would be able to both grow with the child (up to 9 or 10 years) and adapt to a good dining-furnishing, in a calm and architectural manner.

The latter is fulfilled by the semicircular back that, with the horizontal upper-edge, in a harmonious way fits to the plane of a table-top.

The one-column-construction gives the chair sculptural qualities and a character of its own.

Height-adjustment and removal of the security-sticks between back and seat can be done easily and without the use of tools.
